ABOUT THE SHATTUCK GROUP

AN EXCLUSIVE FOCUS ON MID-SIZE SERVICE FIRMS

HOW WE WORK

A CONSULTATIVE APPROACH FOR EACH CLIENT

At The Shattuck Group, we only serve mid-size service firms, those with 25-100 staff and 10-50 million in revenue. Over the last 20 years, we’ve served more than 70 such firms. Each client was unique in where they were, where they wanted to go and what they were willing to do to get there.

We prefer to envision client relationships through the lens of a three-year plan. We begin working with each client by focusing on where they want to be in near future, usually within three years. While we do not ask our clients to sign a three-year agreement, we prefer to begin each new client relationship with the expectation of working together for at least three years. We do offer some project-oriented engagements, but very few.

Our goal is to accelerate each client toward the future of their dreams. To achieve this, we deploy a consultative discovery process where we:

  • Get to know a client deeply, including the leadership team and key staff.
  • Come to understand what they’re trying to achieve.
  • Discover the resources they have at their disposal.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to private matters.
  • Ensure our services are not in any way duplicative of internal resources.
  • Create a custom plan, usually based on a year of working together.
  • Ask for mutual commitment to achieve the goals outlined in the plan.

Most of the clients we serve prefer to adopt a simple monthly payment option based on a budget that works for them. If this approach sounds good to you and you fit our ideal client profile, please fill out the form below to get started.
